Bead Soup is here!

Last March 27, a very nice suprise came my way. My bead soup, which came all the way from Singapore, was sent by my swap partner Adlinah Kamsir of Dreamstruck Designs. You can check out her creations at http://dreamstruckdesigns.blogspot.com.

Anyway, her bead soup came in with a lovely gold package. Since it was my first time to participate, I was embarrassed to send her my bead soup in a stunning bubble wrap packaging. She said that this box was recycled.

Lovely gold box with a really nice surprise inside!

She even sent me a card with Claude Monet's painting on the cover.

For the content of this beautiful package, I was surprised to see a variety of beads from lampwork focals, vintage coordinating beads and silver plated connectors and clasps.

1- Peach silk string; 2- Rhodonite round beads; 3- Lampwork glass focal by Susan Farley of SKHolt glass; 4- vintage lucite flowers and beads; 5- swarovski crystals; 6- sterling silver clasps, pewter spacers and plated flower links: 7- lamp work nuggets; 8,9 &10- czech glass; and 11-amethyst nuggets

My mind is swirling with ideas on how to incorporate these beads to my design. Stay tuned for the reveal on May 3!

Here's a sneak peak on what I gave her in return. Most of the focals are polymer clay creations made by yours truly.

See you then!

  1. So glad you liked what I sent. Can't wait to see what you create with them. I've already made a pair of earrings from your bead soup and am trying to come up with a necklace that will do your focal bead justice.
